DIALux evo 10.1: Even easier to work with luminaires and brands

To kick off the new year, DIAL GmbH has once again released an exciting update to its DIALux lighting design software. DIALux evo 10.1 makes planning with luminaires and brands even easier, and there is also a new inquiry service with manufacturers. DIALux evo 10.1 is available for download free of charge at www.dialux.com.


Working with luminaires even easier
DIAL has completely revised the way planners select brands and organize luminaires in the project. In the luminaire list, DIALux evo 10.1 now offers three views for users to choose from. The list has been expanded to include filtering and sorting options. This makes it easier to maintain an overview, especially when the list becomes very long. It is also possible to filter by brand, but also by type of assembly, for example.

Preferred brands always at hand
The redesigned brand area provides planners with an overview of all DIALux members. Brands can now be found by specifying the product segment and a delivery region. Favorite brands in DIALux are always at hand: Users can add them to a selection that you can find again everywhere in DIALux under My brands. And with a further click, lighting designers can access the product catalogs or the website, depending on which data sources My brand provides for its products.

In addition, with the update, planners can now find out what's new directly in DIALux. News from favorite brands, such as product news or catalog updates, are now automatically available in the DIALux newsfeed.

Make inquiries about luminaires
With DIALux evo 10.1, DIALux members can offer an additional service. Users can send brands that offer this service an inquiry directly from DIALux: a general inquiry, an inquiry about a product, or a non-binding price inquiry. DIALux knows the right contact person for and sends the necessary information about the selected product right away.

Evaluate usage planes now with a standard grid
With DIALux evo 10.1, it is also possible to switch between the adaptive result and a result based on the standard grid (according to EN 12464-1 and -2). This is a function that many have requested in order to be able to correct deviations in the determination of uniformity.
