The new DIALux developer blog!
We want to welcome you to the first blog post of our new DIALux developer blog series. In this new blog format, we want to give you, our users, a glimpse into what we are currently working on in our ongoing development of DIALux evo. Each blog post is supposed to provide you with a sneak peek into what we have been working on in the last few “sprints”.
What is a sprint?
A sprint is a workflow concept used in Scrum which is an agile framework for developing. A sprint is a set period of time during which specific work has to be completed and made ready for (internal) review. Multiple sprint teams are working on different topics each in their self contained sprints, with each sprint having a length of two weeks. The results of each sprint are later merged together in regular intervals which then finally culminate in a new DIALux evo release version.
And now let’s move on to a small selection of what we have been working on in the last few sprints.
Improved handling of images
Our printout team has been working on a solution for the better handling of images in printouts. Soon, you will be able to assign images to pages in a much more comfortable and intuitive way than before. Furthermore, we have been working on implementing a new image editor which will allow you to quickly and effortlessly make them fit into the aspect ratios of your pages.
